The western extension of Valley Line will provide more residents with access to sustainable transit and support the growth of neighbourhoods on its line. This urban style system is planned and designed for careful integration with communities along the corridor and promotes complementary transit and pedestrian oriented development.
Presenting a unique challenge, this project received earlier than anticipated funding, requiring quick mobilization and planning for an extension to an active P3 project, with numerous complexities involving system integration, vehicle compatibility, and operations and maintenance.
The Stewart Group was retained to provide a range of procurement advisory and management consulting services with respect to procurement options analysis, business case / funding analysis, governance, stakeholder outreach, team integration and partnering, developing solutions and support to bring this unique project to fruition.
