Slocan Children’s Complex Care Facility

The BC Children’s Hospital is undertaking a redevelopment of their Slocan campus located in East Vancouver. The new facility is a first-of-its-kind facility for children and youth living with health complexity, and seeks to provide a thoughtfully designed health facility closely integrated with the community.
As part of the re-imagining of this important health facility, the Stewart Group led the creation of the Concept Plan, including development of the project vision, options analysis and stakeholder engagement, and helping to inform the development of the clinical plan and facility program.
The Concept Plan was delivered in a record nine months, and has laid the foundation for the business case, rezoning application, and Treasury Board review. The Stewart Group continues to support the project through stakeholder engagement and advisory services on the project.
